The ability to play percussion is an invaluable skillset to any musician – even if you’re aiming to be a percussion specialist, it brings you knowledge it’d take years to acquire elsewhere.
My interest in percussion ranges from traditional folk & ‘world’ instruments to the drum kit itself, and includes both pitched and unpitched instruments.
I currently offer drum kit lessons up to Grade 8 exclusively in-person, largely due to the logistical constraints of playing the drum kit across video calls.
For this reason, online percussion tuition is currently limited to pitched percussion instruments (Kalimba & Glockenspiel)
