Beginning on the guitar at 8 years old, stringed instruments are my original passion and musically, where I feel most at home.
My tuition philosophy aims to empower you to (in the long run) teach yourself through combining knowledge of the fretboard & music theory, whilst avoiding overwhelming students with such knowledge.
For this reason, my typical lessons generally cover fretboard knowledge and stringed instrument related theory for 15 minutes (33% of a standard lesson) and dedicate the rest of the time to developing repertoire and performance skills however lessons are highly adaptable to your needs, and strengths & weaknesses as a musician.
Instruments taught include: Guitar, Bass, Banjo
